This is the official corporate body of the school. The function of the Council is to ensure that the welfare of the children, both inside the building and in the playground, is catered for adequately. Its duties include the general oversight of the building and grounds, expenditure of both Government and locally raised funds and decisions on the school’s educational policies and strategic direction. The School Council is comprised of parent representatives, community members, the Principal and a staff representative. Terms of office are for two years with half council elections annually. Meetings are held on a Monday each month at 7.30 p.m. All parents welcome to attend.
